I point and laugh at idiots with big rims and spinners still. NEVER a fan. If they're any bigger than the car either CAME With, or NEED to be for performance reasons, I can't stand them

i agree for the most part, it's too gaudy and just takes away from the car. i'll be rolling 15's, 16's tops if i find some major money and get a brake kit

I'd spring for 18"s just for the added performance potential.. THAT'S ALL. Wider is where it's at.

i would not go bigger than a 17, the 15's i want only weigh 8.x lbs so they are very much a performance wheel.
joey, that truck looks sick, but when you put all that time and money into the body work, why throw some huge flashy rims on it to take away from the truck itself?

rims make the vehicle, IMO its not taking away from the truck, its adding to the apperance.

it just does not make sense to dump a bunch of money into a truck like that that is like 99% custom built then have the most eye cetching part on the truck be one of the only off the shelf parts.

if you think the rims are the most eye catching part of the truck, your really not lookin over the truck to well...If you dont know anything about the truck in its orig condition then of course you wont notice some of the things but for example the nose has been extended which any hot rodder would notice right off the bat...and then look at the interior, all custom...the rims are custom made to order, not bought off the shelf..You order them and give them the size you want and they make them...Personal taste i guess, everything likes different things which makes the car industry what it is...It would be boring as fuck going to car shows were all the cars were modified pretty much the same.
