Heres my 1988 honda crx, it looks good in the pictures but you really have to hear what it sounds like in order to appreciate the crappyness.

it kinda is and kinda isnt with like 237,000 miles a rattling sound from the exhaust and engine mounts and a slipping clutch. the interior has some cheap-ass APC race like seats in it cause the seats before rotted away.

The rattling sound is most likely your cat vibrating off a hanger or something.

Heat/Sunburn on the paint... Clearcoat gets worn away, then paint gets burnt. Voila.
