idea for AZ GTG

ok, if anyone want's to do this, the plan is to go up to showlow, via globe, try to run devils highway, go throgh heber/overgaard (maybe stop by my cabin and play pool), pass through payson up to camp verde up through sedona and go on the slide rock run (watch out for rabid bats) and head on up to the dome at NAU in flag. possibly go to grand canyon or sn fran peak or lowell obsevetory. any one up for it, lots o curves. we need to plan a whole day, this is a long drive. ok.

I have a kid now, so I really have to pick and choose which drives/races that I can go on. Im not too sure of your driving style or experience and would like to get together for a local run first and then later on maybe hit up a nice cruise.

Its no dis to you and I hope you don't take it that way. I just really don't want to go on a run where a) I feel like Im being anchored because someone can't keep up or b) a certain driver has to drive beyond the limit of their skills just to keep up with the pack. Its really a safety/selfish thing, if ya know what I mean.

We can schedule a small run for this Saturday. Sparky has a house about an hour and a half north of you and there's alot of fun canyon roads. If not that, lets go rally. Theres a fast track north of Scottsdale.

Well, if you have to work the morning then a run would be out of the picture. Normally we muster everyone up for a rally some time after noon. We can shoot for 2pmish for a rally and that would leave us with enough time to meet up, drive where we have to go, and then an hour or two to have some fun before the night comes in on us.

Not sure how next months lookin for me right now. With the way works goin, they give $50 bonus for every 8 hours over time ontop of overtime paid, Im either going to be taking care of my son or or at work.

If you could come out on Saturday with us your truck might come in handy if we get stuck. A few trips back Sparky almost got stuck and a buddy of his ended up buryng his accord in the dirt.
