Replace all the NASCAR garbage with road racing, rally racing, rollover contests, drifting, and show coverage. :D

Even the generic non focus shows like wind tunnel focus on NOTHING but NASCAR. Wind tunnel is the LAMEST show, they talk about the most pointless stuff and it's 95% opinion/speculation.

I know, even if the topic at hand is something way different, say Mitsubishi evo owners having their warrenty's revoked or something.... its like caller one what do you think...
Fuck imports lets talk about nascar (guns fire in background, rodeo music starts playing) YEE HAW!
Ok but the thing is that its all NOPI(redneck car shows no offense) Tuner Transformation which is has the three wierdist and dumbest people you can find to hookup cars and their in Canada. They will never find the true side to SPEED the only reason I have SpeedTV is to watch FORUMLA 1!

Don't forget that SPEED airs the World Challenge and ALMS. Road races own all.

The only reason speed stays alive is because of NASCAR
Advertisers don't give a crap about the Speedworld Challange, or ALMS.
So Speed has to show a huge portion of NASCAR.
Fox owns the NASCAR rights and also Speed..so they get the runoff of the NASCAR footage.
Speed got kicked back to channel 222 here in Orange County.
They used to be on channel 65
And that Tuner Trasfomation show does give me the creeps, those fuckers are weird.

speed vision focuses on 2 things, bikes and nascar, i personally dont have a problem with nascar i dont watch it but i dont dislike it, but i think speed needs to show alot more of other racing, like wrc nobody shows that, i personally think formula racing is boring too but thats just me

I think nascar needs to get back to its roots. It started out as a race transporting alcohol, I I have an idea. They should put weight in their car, simulating the weight of the alcohol, and run the race. The racer an choose how much weight they would like in their car. They would then run the race, and the winner would be the person who makes it through the race with the best time, divided by the amount of weight in their car. They could also use glass bottles, filled with water for the weight, so that bottles could break, spoiling the package, thus giving them less weight.

I am a NASCAR fan. Personally I think Speed should definitely lay off the NASCAR a little bit and get some more variety in there. I remember when Speed used to show the Le Mans Race for its ENTIRETY LIVE. As for Tuner Transformation, those guys don't know what they are doing. Have you noticed that in a lot of cases they contract the work out to somebody else to take care of??
But as for NASCAR, yes a lot of those guys got started running moonshine. This guy I know has a grandfather that used to work for the county sheriff down in NC running those guys down before NASCAR became active. Personally I think that NASCAR ought to switch their car configs back so that the racers ACTUALLY DRIVE THE CAR THEY "REPRESENT". Taurus, Monte Carlos, and Intrepids w/ painted on headlights with carbed v8s under the hood?? Plz. If you are going to run a V8 in a "family sedan" then at least a V8 engine should be an option for the real thing out on the road (it used to be an option for the Monte Carlo and Taurus SHO, but both those V8s were pretty crappy, especially the SHO one).
I have been to a few NASCAR races, and its pretty funny IMO seeing guys walking around at 8am in the morning with tall Budweiser cans in their hands. Also at one of the races I went to there was this battered work truck sitting right behind the stands. The reason it was battered was because after I had sat there for 15 mins waiting for someone I saw at least 100 beer cans/bottles being thrown over the back of the stands hitting the truck.

Speed has turned into NASCAR TV basically. It kind of sucks, since my mom is a big fucking NASCAR fan. I personally can't stand it, and would only consider watching one of the road races.

nascar is to motorsports like ricers are to the tuning scene. It does nothing but harm to the whole industry. All we need are some hicks making left hand turns all say long, promoting drinking and driving. We seriously should protest at every single event.

Dude its not cool to rip on anyone who's dead.
WRC and World Challege are usually on Sundays, check out speedchannel's website for scheduling... prolly speed.com or something... Because of the way those 2 series are run, i.e. not on a weekly/monthly basis, its hard to know when they are.
At least World challenge is on in the afternoon and WRC at night... F1 usually starts at like 6 a.m. central!

Dale Earnhardt raced in more than NASCAR. He participated in a few road races outside the NASCAR league. He raced in the GM Goodwrench Corvette at the 24 hour road race sponsored by a watch company (Seiko??) at Daytona's road course layout. I think he also raced at Sebring. And of course he raced at Watkins Glen. While I personally think the Earnhardt thing has been blown out of proportion (Im a Richard Petty fan myself), it was a sad thing he died. At least he was doing what he loved and got to be one of the rare few who could actually race a car for a living and be loved by a lot of people while he was doing it.
With F1, they probably show it so early b/c they show it live, and while its 7 am EST here its like 2 or 3pm wherever the F1 race is being held at in Eurasia.
