Just picked up 05' 745 Li. Titanium Grey w/black inside. I love this car. It is SOOOO much better than the Bentley. (for $200K less) But I don't like the I-drive. ( short for *I-fucking-hate-trying-to-do-this-while-I-drive*) It is easy to figure out but annoying when you just want to change the radio station and you have to go through a whole process. Anyone else feel my pain? :banghead:

I-drive is such a POS system. Like you said, just to do the most minute adjustements, you gotta be some nuclear engineer.
I do love the parking sensor sonar thing on the screen, its increble!
Give a week or two with the iDrive. Once you get the hang of it, it's not a big deal at all.
After a week of driving cars with iDrive I was able to navigate through all the menus and settings without even looking at the screen.

Yeah...I feel your pain. I don't like the I-drive in my car either. And yes, my car is so much better than the Bentley.

Niceness, I dove one a 745 around for a while, they are super nice, and the toys they come with, ooo so many buttons for me to push, haha
Hell yeah to a new ride:thumbs:.
I really like the new 7's now, I may have to convince my dad to get one next year. Is there any reason you went with the Li over the i?

damn, if you got a new M5. the next time i get to michigan with my cousin/family, i'd deffinately try to drive by your house just to see that. might sound stalker-ish, but my cousin and i are jaded from head to toe about BMW's
and as for the idrive, we (my dad and i) were testing a 745li and he wanted to change the radio. the sales guy we were in the car with even was confused about it so i just reached between the seats and punched the thing in the middle, it worked though lol

Weird question, but I was wondering if you had more pictures of the house--inside and out. I've always wondered what a house like that looks like on the inside. Probably as beautiful, if not more, than the outside. Ah, maybe one day I'll know for myself, right? :p
