ah, I hate the pen tool too. Did you do all of that in Illustrator?? Looks good man :beer:

i did it in Photoshop...Its just a render from a picture...In the original picture he was throwing an egg, got rid of the egg and tried to make something that looked like a bomb..Then i just added the camo to his shell, the Chings, gave him the helmet and make him black..I tried to put like an army vest on him but it didnt work out to well, maybe some other time.

wacoms are nice if youre using just illustrator, I dont like using the wacom on photoshop, just my opinion though

how do you guys know how to do that stuff in photoshop? i mean is it just from playing around? is it from work? did you take classes? cause i wanna get better at it but i have got NO CLUE what i am doing.... i LOVE that yoshi man that is awesome....

dunno about 2 fn low, he does some sicckkk stuff. I taught myself on photoshop 2.0 like 3 years ago, then my jr and sr year I loaded 7.0 onto the computers in my drafting class and did it in there in my freetime, went to some UIL comps, took best in texas in photo manipulation and bunch of shit, so I just stuck to it. Now Im taking a few classes at a community college in KC this summer. Its boring though cause I already know all the stuff shes teaching, just the basic class. I also worked for lifetouch photography doing photo retouches and page layouts and what not. Then this fall Im heading out to Orange County to go to the Art Instititue out there for advertising.

Basically practice, online tutorials, ask questions on how to do stuff, etc. etc.

i just practice and make random things, whatever comes to mind really...Ive been using PS for a few years now...Over time you become familiar with the tools and learn what everthing does and etc etc...There are plenty of books and shit you can read though if you wanted to go that route..

i was deleting shit of my comp and i came across all these pictures of nintendo characters i had saved to use for something else, so i decided to cut some of them out and try to do something with them..
