Whats The Best N64 Game

what do you think the best N64 game was? Personally i feel that N64 was one of the best systems and nintendo put out some great games for it, games i wish they still made for systems now..

Goldeneye i think was one of the better games...Everybodyyyy played Goldeneye back in the game, the multi player action was awesome when you had 4 people playing...I remember we use to chill at somebodys house and play this game for hours on end having tournaments and what not....

Turok was also a great game.

I just loved playing Perfect Dark with a friend against like 5 or 6 bots.

goldeneye or perfect dark were great. But, IMO, Zelda: OoT is the best.
And yeah, I think that N64 was a great system too, but it was soooo damned expensive for games vs. playstation. I just wish that Dreamcast had lasted longer. It was like the 'new N64'

you play Socom 3 online? I just picked it up a few weeks ago and started playing it online...I suck but id get together in a game sometime with ya..

anyway, i just went to blockbuster.com...I never knew they had an online service where they would send movies to your door, i might have to sign back up with them after all these years...Anyway, the only games they list on their website are for

you can get N64 games from ebgames, gamestop, etc. I'm going to start putting together a collection to build a nice arcade machine. A DC and an N64. Should be pretty fun :D

I have mariokart for gamecube, and now DS.. still a great game, I have Zelda OoT for Gamecube too.. I'm actually playing through it again, just got to the water temple last time I played. N64 was a great system, it's a shame that Nintendo pushed sony away back in the SNES days saying 'cdrom isn't going to take off for games yet' haha.. oh well.. at least they've got a good thing coming to market, unlike sony's $600 PC... Did you know that Sony is thinking about having a 'custom order' service? You can customize the PS3 with HDD, RAM, etc..? stupid.. sounds like a gaming pc to me.. they should have just bought Alienware and called it a day :loser:

Lets see..... Goldeneye was great, so was turok, duke nukem, 1080 snowboarding.

My top favorites that most people ignore. Winback and ExciteBike 64. Winback rocked the shit outta that console. I fucking loved that game.

I liked Pilot Wings for like a half hour very entertaining. I also liked Mario Kart 64, Super Smash Brothers.

I also agree Blast Corps was awesome, I dont remember how to play, but I do remember it was freaking hard, and there was a truck with nuclear ordinance in every level.

i actually beat blast corps, not with gold, but i at least had a silver on every "city" and Pilot Wings was MUCH MUCH MUCH better on SNES

Super Mario 64, and MarioKart 64 were also pretty badass.

There were sooooo many good N64 games. I remember there were actually 2 Duke Nukem games, the one 2FN posted and there was another, I don't remember the name but it was played in third person (camera right behind Duke) and had nice graphics for its time, it was fun and had awesome multiplayer. It was also one of the first games on N64 with harsh language (way worse than Duke 64). If this was already mentioned in the thread sorry, I quit readin the thread after the Duke 64 post.

I still love N64 and to this day I keep about 30 roms on my Laptop that I play with my PS2 controller using an adapter.

Umong my favorite are:

Goldeneye and Perfect Dark, which were essentially the same game with different characters.

The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

Demolition Derby 64 (It was a shitty, cheaply developed game but DAMN IT WAS FUN!)

All of the Mario Party games (Great fun if you have lots of buds over)

and of course, Super Smash Brothers
