65 grand for a focus? That might be a little extreme.

I bet it's a really nice driving car when it is complete, but for that kind of money, buy a car that looks nice as well! :xyxthumb:

alot of it can be done for alot less like the engine go with a twin turbo 351 get a used rear end and rebuild it. there is a guy I know that is doing it right now and he said about $20,000 to $25,000 to get his done.

Well it dose make it more attractive, I would just by a e36 lol, but that front kit on that focus is pretty sharp.

what are the figures its gonna reach at the end of it. Preformance wise.

I'm sure it's very fast, but there's a lot more to a car than speed (at least it's got power windows though.. :headbang: )

My mom had a loaner one, it didn't have power windows and was the biggest POS ever.

Well if you are actually going to be doing some rally racing yeah its HOT, but just for a daily driver??? A girl won't be impressed, its still a Focus. And if you tell her about the mods and how much they are! She will laugh in your face and say you should have bought an M3 or a Porsche Boxster. Something cool with status already....

But thats just my opinion.....

it might be unique to be rolling in a car like that. still a Focus...if you have the green to spend...go for it. just make sure it's fast.

SMG

yeah I could build that up for 30,000 but for 30,000 what should I do?

For 30G? Get an FD RX7 or Mk4 Supra TT. Do all the preventative stuff then a single-turbo conversion. That's what I'd do. But I'm kinda weird about Japanes cars...
