1993 Del Sol - GSR Motor

This is my buddies '93 Del Sol, I just came across these pics on my comp and thought I would post them up for ya to enjoy. The car is pretty much completely customs, interior is white leather, has 3 strut bars, new engine, performance bolt ons, stereo, flat screes, wheels, brakes, paint, targe top, body kit etc...

EDIT: he has since changed the wheels and tires to some that are much nicer.

The trunk, the PSONE is hooked up to a flat screen, amps run to the subs (not sure where they are)

Oh ya I meant too add the bit about the paint, the car was that colour when he bought it, he plans on repainting it a dark blue colour, and he was also scepticle about the spoiler.

I forgot to add that I didnt need to sink 5k or whatever into my crx to make it look like rice. Hell I didnt even pay a grand for the car. You know what though? I still dont have a wing or alteezas. :icon_roll

Ya the interior was definetely one of the nicer mods to the car, the paint is ok but its so damn bright but does go well with the white. I think it will look much better in the deep blue colour he is planning on spraying it with.

I will get him to do something about the tails...

The wing isn't aluminum, so it's cool with me. I don't like bright paint or tezzas, but the paint does look like a good job, which gets a little respect for it from me. Overall, I'd drive it.

Finally I actually went for a rip in his car tonight, just got back 15mins ago actually. For all those of you who are doubting it, it may look a little ricey and all but it friggin goes! He picked me up, we took off, a touch screen dc player pops out of the dash. The exhaust and the intake sounded awesome as we were just crusing along. He was hardly giving it any gas, and of course thats all I wanted him to do! He said he was on his way to this freshly paved straight road so we were just cruizing because the cops will pull him over in an instant if he does one thing wrong, or just to check and make sure his car passes all the local laws. He was also saying when he actually races or atleast gives it juice he has to be gone asap cause people call the cops, of course I was rolling rolling my eyes thinking I go stupid fast everyday and have never had the cops called on me that I know of.

So we finally get to this fresh strip of road, he stopped dead and said here we go... He layed on the gas, I watched as the stock tack was past the redline then remember it wasn't a stock motor, it reved up to about 9000RPM or 9500RPM and was just screaming, he shifted and you could feel the g-force keeping you in your seat, we went through a couple grears and he just took it up to 160, but we got there in no time. Anyways this thing will easily rape any of the little riced out cars around here. It definetely holds its on out on the road. For all those of you cutting up the tails etc, he actually has new tails, headlights and all on order. His new rims (not seen in pic) are being powder coated white, buying a new hood, door pops, and I forget what else, then a paint job. Its a fun little car that acually has some pull, though at 9500RPM I don't know how long the motor is going to last him.

the gsr motor is almost bullet proof, instead of doing a "bling yo" paint job, flat black it and sell all that crap in the trunk, and turbo it and it will be even better. the cars interior is way to crazy bright but maybe its the pics. 9500 its all good for hondas look at the s2k lol, man it really gets moving once it gets up to 9000, i should talk ive got a tiny power band as it is.
glad the lights are gone, sorry for any hateful comments just my opinion.

Actually he qualified for the Buick open and went to all these rich courses to play in it with Todd, They got to the second last round then didn't make it by 2 strokes to the final, next stop was Orlando, Fl to meet Tiger!

I'm feeling the white seats!! I've seen that wing on every car under the sun, if a big wing is a must, that's the one to get IMO. The color, yeah it hurts my eyes. But I was once the owner of a very offbeat, bright yellow car that probably did not appeal to everyone :) So I say, if he likes it, then its cool!

Clearly it wasn't that of a Ferrari or anything near it you knob, but it was much harder than if you pin it in a stock 4 or 6 cylinder commuter.

I have driven a 400hp RWD Camaro... ya I have felt g-forces.

Hah, ya an xbox is taking its spot. Rice is what it is and always will be though, so its not like is going to be unriced. Well anyways its a fun little car to rip around in though, other than the fact that the popo are all over it. When he passes them they just follow him until he does something wrong, or they find something wrong with his car. For example the one night they followed him and never pulled him over until he put his signal on, they pulled him over because he had clear bulbs and in Ontario you have to have orange bulbs.
