Fundraising/Car Show

I am pledgeing for Delta Sigma Pi and one of the pledge requirements is to create a fund raiser/generate money as part of the pledge week.

We decided to have a car show to raise money and donate a very large portion of it to benefit sickle cell anemia and cancer research. (about 75 - 90% most likely 90%) the other 10% is to cover the expenses.

What i am asking of teckademics is if we can get everyhting together, this is in invitation to the teckademics community and anyone if you have friends that would like to show off their cars, you will be helping to raise money for cancer research.

We have more to discuss, but we are thinking just $10 entry, and there will also be excellent priced food for sale (most likely bbq food).

We have not yet decided upon a date. This is the basic information that we have discussed, it will either be held at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey or somewhere within 5 miles of the campus.


What i would need to know is who would be interested in comming to this to show off their car and have a good time and help benefit sicklecell anemia and cancer research.

its getting a bit late in the season for an outdoor show, if you wait till spring you will have a much better turn out!

Hey bro, shoot me a PM regarding this. I would like to review your registration paperwork to the charities involved, which is required in allowing for the tax benefits along with allowing the organizers to claim it as a charity event. If you need help with this filing, let me know in your PM, we wouldn’t mind assisting with this process.
