I have to say the 90's are for me 100% percent I mean with Nirvana and Pearl Jam still fresh on peoples minds and everything from Hole to Match Box 20 to Goo Goo Dolls and ICP I mean the 90s with never be beat look at music now.... F'in EMO and Hardcore? I like hardcore music but the kids are slaphappyfagmuffins.

Yeah 90's music definitely rocks.

I am going to say it though: Nirvana sucks for the most part. My favorite song by them is Lake Of Fire. That's pretty badass. Other than that, I can only listen to like 2 Nirvana songs in a row before I gotta listen to something else.

New school for me..... Not "EMO" but the good Metalcore ie. (It Dies Today, As I Lay Dying, Eighteen Visions) but then i listen to new rock too, not that hillbilly shit, but artists like Unjust, Lo-Pro, Memento, Evergreen Terrace.

It's hard for me to pick a favorite era....I like them all. 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, and current music, it's all great to me.

Everything from Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, and Montley Cure all the way to DJ Micro, Lincoln Park, and all sort of random trance.

Not big into Rap or anything from the early to mid 90's.

Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix...Everybody thought the song was about drugs cause of the lyrics, but according to him it was about a dream he had where a purple like fog (haze) covered him and he got lost in it..

was he on drugs when the "fog" happened?lol There is another badass song out there that i cant remember anything about, im thinking around '65 that was pretty hardcore for the time. I know thats very vague, but i want to choose between that and purple haze

the 60s belonged to mostly the beatles, bob dylan, the rolling stones, the doors, the beach boys and shit like that...You could do, "youve lost that loving feeling" by the righteous brothers, which was in the movie Top Gun  Maybe your thinkin of another Hendrix song. All along the watchtower was another one of his more popular songs..
