I've been told that my car spits decent sized fireballs every once in awhile.

kikass, if i had exhaust pipes coming out the back of my car i would hook that shit up. do you hit a button to shoot it, or does it just go whenever. can it be done to an auto?

Pretty much you can't have a cat to be able to do this. You rev your motor and any unburned gasoline will be ignited by the spark plug. There are many companies that make easier kits then these such as www.gotflames.com I belive. Pretty much the same concept though. Previously I had an S-10 Blazer with that set-up, but I also used nitrous solenoids to spray flammable fluids. Nice 8-12' flames. I've made a few of these kits. If anyone wants one give me a holler.

i know this is the do it your self section but... they sell these as a kit in the UK there everywhere! there called flame out kits and cost about £80 probs about $120 sounds like a lot but it makes life so much easier! i made my own for my motor bike and it was a right pain in the arse! they can be fitted on any car, cat or not! and auto's! you put the spark plug about 6inchs away from the end of the exhaust! or in the tail pipe after the back box, dont matter if there side exits rear exits or what! you give it a quick blip of the throtle and as the revs drop hit the switch and a huge flam comes out! looks pritty cool coz its a huge yellow flame and it lasts, my MR2 fires flames every time i change gear but its a flash and thats it with the flame out kit you get a big yellow flame that lasts 3 mebies 4 seconds if not more!
