First, locate a plastic container to hold the fuel once it has been siphoned. You will also need about 4 feet or more of tubing. A clear hose is recommended so that you can see the fuel in the tubing.
Before you touch the gas tank, be sure that there are no open flames or sparking objects near you. This would include that cigarette hanging out of your mouth, Bubba. Now, position the plastic container below the fuel door. The container should be lower then the gas tank itself to allow gravity to take effect in this process. Take the rubber tubing and insert it into the gas tank containing the fuel.
Begin sucking on the end of the hose hanging out of the gas tank door. You should eventually be seeing fuel rise through the tubing. As soon as you see the fuel, quickly place that end of the hose into the plastic container. This is where gravity should take over and the fuel should fill the plastic container.
When you have either exhausted the gas tank of its fuel, or reached the quantity of fuel you were after, remove the tubing from the gas tank end first. Hold that end of the tubing straight up over the container to empty the tube's contents.
Be sure to wash hands and rinse out your mouth afterwards to guarantee you are no longer combustable.
