man if its in good shape thats a good deal, blue book on that is 15,500ish and if shes willing to sell it when she doesnt even want to for 16 i would take it, thats really low miles for what your getting in my area of flrorida its hard to find one below 16 let alone with low miles, actually i found none, cause i would take a low mile E36 if i dont get an ls1 and i was lookin aroundm ProMSL post the link to the one you found, cause if there is one for 14 or 15 buy it but if not i would sure as hell take hers

yep, its a enthusiast thing. I have seen people with low mile 95's asking for around 20k
I've seen privately sold local M3s around here going for like $15k for a 1993 with like 70k miles on it.

The problem is the enthusiasts that are like oh shit!!!! and they pay out the ass for it.

I don't know about any of you guys... But I don't think I could see myself buying a car with any mods on it. Kind of ruins the fun. I mean, half the fun of modding is doing it yourself and feeling the difference, right?

I don't think a person is an idiot for trying to get something back for all the work and parts they've put into their car. A car is worth as much as somebody will pay for it. Sure, some people ask way to much for vehicles, but I think a heavily modified car is definately worth more than stock.

Not if it's been raced every weekend and the motor is bad. I would rather buy a car from a 50 year old lawyer than a 25 year old streetracer... But that's just me
You guys are completely right. If Dado sells his M3 and asks anymore than $15k for it, you can tell him what an idiot he is.

Well Dado is different... He knows how to handle his shit and take care of it. Most of the douchebags around here just race up and down the avenue all weekend and fuckin' grind the gears with every shift. If the guy has a rep for being a good driver, then hell yeah, let me buy that shit. But if it's just the next dumbfuck around here that doesn't know how to drive a stick and just stuck their third tranny in there.

ok im bored so ill type it up again...this might not make sense though. If you look at any dealer or auction that car wouldnt sell for anywhere near that. The blue book on the car is less then half of that and if some person wanted to try to finance it or something their is no way in hell that the bank would give them the money. Only a small fraction of the car market is enthusiasts like ourselves that would be willing to pay this outrageous money for the car. If you notice the smarter ones will return their car back to stock before selling it then sell their mods seperatly. Of course their will always be someone out their willing to pay the money and they will be happy with it and much props to them. Something like Dado's car or other movie or show cars of course will go for more money because they have a lot of exposure. im about to fall asleep on my keyboard and i hope some of this made sense and ill continue tomorrow:)

oh one more thing, if anyone remembers a few years ago a guy on the east coast, i forget his name, had this is insane custom full ACS widebody e36, complete with AA turbo and everything. It had over 80k invested in it and it sold for 15k on ebay.

So you know what I'm talking about. My friend with a fucking automatic Civic drives it like it's an auto and is fixing to put his 3rd tranny inside. I mean, he wonders why his luck with trannies is so bad when he does neutral drops from four or five grand.

Thats an awesome price I'm look for a E36 ///M also.

My car is auto too. (Never intended to mod) :nonono2: And I beat the hell out of it. I hope to find a 5 speed soon, b/c I can't take the sluggishness. But yeah, I drive my auto eclipse like it's an auto too. :lool:

ur kinda wrong there...dado flogs the shit out of his car, not that he's a bad driver, its built for racing and thats what he does with it...but he could get hella more for his car because he doesnt just have bolt ons and wants to make his money bac, he has a compleatly built engine. even with that said i'm sure if he sold his car he still would take a loss on it.
