Professor Green is one of the UKs biggest rappers/freestylers..Me being half English, im pretty into UK hip hop...A Professor Green Mixtape has come out..Im not really sure if youll be able to find it in the states (i havent seen it) but you can find it online at The Jump Off (http://www.jumpoff.tv) store...I just got my copy last night from a friend..I love it.The style is kinda different then what we hear over here, but you gotta expect that..It might be kinda hard to follow for some cause of the accent and cause of the different why they prononue things...Either way, check it out..I put together a lil promo with a some sound clips from a few songs...Songs being Are They Rapping Like Pro, Lick Shots, Same Old Me, Upper Clapton Dance, and Without Tryin ft Loudmouth..

All white rappers get compared to Eminem, unless they have a downsouth style like Paull Wall..Eminem needs to go back to making music like he use to...His songs are like jokes now, cant even take the dude seriously. Hes like a gimick, just something to laugh at, like a side show...I cant knock the fact that he is making money though off that bullshit..Whatever works i guess :dunno:

Yes it was..I wouldnt think hes all fucked up, I think its just the way hes going with his music..He found out what its gonna take to get himself attention and his music listened to...Alls he has to do is act like a fool, make some jokes about this person and that person, and people are gonna buy his music just to hear what he has to say..Like i said, its like a gimick, people who dont even like him listen to his songs atleast once to hear who hes talking about...Kinda like how we all go to see the Fast and Furious eventhough we know we're gonna hate it..Gotta know what its all about for yourself..Thats all rap is, acts to get people to buy their music..Just like 50 Cent and The Game are no longer friends and trash eachother in songs..Its a publicity stunt to get their music played, to get the people hyped to hear what they are going to say next about eachother..Then when one of them comes out with a better song trashing the other one, the phonelines at the radio station start going crazy for it to be played and then its a number 1 hit..

i agree...besides being more freestyle and such, it seems a lot like eminem. the voice style and overall beat it has. not bad though, IMO

Just shows how much i know about UK hip hop never even heard of the guy, the best UK hip hop/rap artist IMO is Dizzee Rascal, You have to listen to
Jus A Rascal,
Stand Up Tall
and Fix Up, Look Sharp.

he use to be with Haunted House Productions if you know who they are..Use to be part of group called 'Lighter Shades Of Darkness' before he became big on The Jump Off..He associates with DJ Semtex and Sway..Dizzee Rascal is another good one...Hes been around a lil longer then Professor Green though, Green is just coming out of the battle scene after pretty much beating everybody he possibly could...Jin did rip him apart though at the power summit fight klub battle last year...Professor Green finished second.

oh yea and by the way, Che Pope might of had an hand in producing some of the songs on this mixtape..Im not sure who the producers are besides Mike Skinner...Either way, if you dont know, Che Pope is pretty much Dres right hand man...This could be a reason why you may think the beats sound like a Eminem beat....
