I'd like to change my avatar, but I can't because it needs to be less than 1024 bytes, even though my current one is larger than that. Can someone help me with this?

I've noticed that too, I think that the size limit should have been 1MB like on other forums, not 1KB, 1kb is freakin nothing!
I'd like to change mine too here soon, but can't now.

ive had major problems with mine. they had file size regulations, and mine was always small enough, but it wouldnt let me use it until it was tiny

Yeah, I think there was a misstype or something, because 1kb is like a speck on the screen, its not anything.
Can someone please up the avatar limit??? Someone PM this to a Admin, I don't know who they are, the only one I know are Dustin, and i think Vader. Dustin is usually mad busy, so not up for bothering him.

No, it says it needs to be 1kb. So something was typed in wrong or something.

WTF kind of forum is that? Anyways, since we CAN have avatars here, we should make it right. This thread was just created to let an admin or someone know that the avatar thing is messed up. That is all. This thread shouldn't be more than one page long.

I posted something before about it. If you use Photoshop CS2 and your pic is within the size regulations, just convert the pic to an 8 bit RGB mode, open in imageready, and size it down. That's what I did and it worked. I think I posted it in the Photoshop section or the site comments section. This will work, I used this for my current avatar.

it would be nice if we could have a higher loading allowance, I can't even put up an avatar now, not even my first one. Maybe it could be 100 X 100, and no more than 2 mb?
PLEASE!!!!!!

Why does it matter on this forum how many posts you have?
