that is so sweet. wish i had that type of skill
Thanks for the compliment but what I did doesn't take skill. Just takes the magnetic lasso tool and a little bit of patience.

Wow the magnetic lasso works so much easier for tracing, I always do it with the regular straight lasso and go slowly.
The magnetic lasso is kinda weird sometimes though. It took me about 5 minutes just to trace it...I was doing a lot of clicks because the thing was going all over the place, wasn't really following the car how I wanted to in certain places.

I just got photoshop cs2 and I'm trying out stuff like this... you did a great job on it....
Yeah how did you do that, i tried a few times with the lasso but i cant follow a car edge for my life...
Select the magnetic lasso. Start somewhere near a point (I started at the rear bumper and went counter clockwise). Move slowly and if the thing starts moving away from where you want it to go, back up and click where you want it. If it puts a point where you don't want it, hit escape and try again. Once the car is outlined, click ctrl + c (cut). Go into mode and select grayscale. Then go into mode and select RGB. Then hit ctrl + v (paste).
