wrecked a mustang

So im driving on the highway on my way to get a new phone and i see this mustang in front of me. Its a GT from the past generation and the guy looks at me as i drive by in he left lane. I didnt think anything of him as mustangs are dime a dozen in my area but then he speeds up and flashes his brights a couple times. I slow down and he pulls up right next to me as both of us are doing 60.
I downshift into third and punch it and so does he. Im roughly 2 car lenghs in front of him until 80 and then i start pulling all the way to 130 where im more then 5 cars in front and shut down.
I slow down back to 70 and he's right next to me and rolls down his window and says "lets go again, on my mark", im like ok so at the third honk he punches it and keeps up better with me this time up to 125 where he is only 3 car lenghs behind me because i misshifted.
So we go a third time and this was the charm, got him by 6+ lenghts up to 120 and then called it a night.

The guy was cool and gave me a thumbs up before he drove off, which is awesome because usually mustang drivers hate my damn audi. :saiyan:

Anyways a good day for the turbo and couldnt be happier since it was the first time ive raced with it hehe :beerchug:

nice. I havent raced anyone yet cuz my truck is hella slow, and there it usually a lot of trafic around too. also the fact my main vehicle is 36 years old and such too.

what engine/mods do you have done?

Carbonio air intake, forge motorsport diverter valve, revosoftware so right now its about 280 hp and 330 lbs of tq....and a painted engine cover that adds like 40 hp :devil2:

good kill, I am guessing it was a 96 newer one then? It is rare to come across a stock 5.0L, and even harder to get away from em. I think the entire point of racing is to compare your car to someone elses, then mod it if you lose. No feelings either way. Just be careful of the fuzz though, they are bound to be cracking down even harder. Indiana just made it a felony......lol.

lol, i love that. I am sure they upped the charge from a misdemeanor to a felony. yet another f*cked up law allowed to pass by our first republican gov. in god knows how long....lol. oh, and they plan on leasing out the toll road to a private firm, can you say speeding area? lol. Anyways, good luck on keeping it a misdemeanor.

I enjoy street racing, too. I'm from TX, and I believe it's a felony here also, so I sure didn't wanna get caught back when I did it illegally. But can you blame them for increasing the penalty? It's for people's safety. They're just doing their job.

I live where the tool rd passes through... big ole South Bend... and we get busted before the races start... now if you are driving in a group abouve the speed limit they try to say you're racing to prove a point... I put the street racing is not a crime sticker on my back window for support of our sport.... you should see some of the dirty looks!!!!

thanks again fellas, in DC they have mustang, camaro, corvette, M3 and i even saw a saleen mustang poice car driving on the highway....most of those cars are confiscated from drug busts lol

If I can find mine, or get another one....I may put it on my sable....lol. I got a free ride in Madison county's pursuit mustang. The officer that drove it at the time was a family friend. Lets just say, unmarked mustang gt, had to of had something done under the hood, and made me leary of light green mustangs....lol. I saw this guy trying to chase down a croth rocket a week later, after pulling a uturn.....lol. Also, That sucks in DC with all those exotics as police cars....teh audi's are no longer safe....lol.

yeah like i said most of those cars were confiscated from drug busts, fraud or other things of the sort. DC is filled with them which makes it almost impossible to drive the way you want.....but we still manage to find a way :headbang:

They now have a Silver Mustang GT for the undercover car in Madison County. I've not seen it personally, but everyone says he tries to get you to race, then pulls you over. Straight up dick move if you ask me.

I hope he does it to me because I'm going to pretend like I'll race him, rev. and hold at like 5000 Rpm like I'm going to launch, then do NOTHING. Muwahahahahaha. My luck it won't be the cop, and I'll just look like a dumbass. :dunno:

Not in indiana. Undercover cars wear public plates! They are a bitch to spot. If the cop trys to get you to race him, then he is indeed breaking the law and you can get out of the ticket claiming entraptment!!! Anyways, let the silver gt pull away then pursue him, call him in to 911, and then make a citizens arrest on your part.......undercover cop=[owned]

Holy shit, that is in my county, WTF. Hells no. I'm gonna have to see this. I know the old light green one was rumored to have nitrous(which isn't uncommon on pursuit vehicles)
