hey my bro bought a drumset, but it sounds like shit...its kinda cheap, but can u tune it so that it sounds decent?? the brand names escape me at the moment, but i know he went out and bought new zild. cymbals, crash, tophat...and new skins for the drums, but just doesnt sound right

need more info on the kit. What type of Zildjian cymbals?? ZBT? Z custom??

What are the specs? size of drums, how many peices?

I didnt like hydros when I used them. I usually go evans G2 Clear on the toms and G1 coated snare

my opinion is nate(joey) jordisen(sp?) from slipknot. ive played on a replication of his set at guitar center. absolutly awsome

Peart is amazing, but Id go with Thomas Lang hes an independent drummer/studio I saw him do a clinic hes amazing. If were talking about drummer in a band I would go with Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater.
