Some people don't care for the appearance, but just look at the engineering... it's simply incredible...

thats what i ment, i think they are terribly ugly. but you have to respect all the power and engineering behind them

Eh. I would love the E60 M5, if it came in a conventional manual transmission. I know the SMG transmission is a lot quicker in shifting and more precise... but nothing feels better than releasing the clutch pedal nice and quick, and feeling that good jerk of power. =) It's all about the driving experience, and I don't think a clutchless manual would feel as fun as a standard manual transmission.
