Actually adjusting for ludacris speed it wouldnt be so bad... as an aside my friend who got me my job at a porsche daelership (I dont work during winter though) recently drove down to manheim near philly from pittsburgh. He made it back in 2 hours - and they were in a cayenne too. 2 hours. It takes usually like 5.5 or 6 hours driving maybe 10 or 15 over the speed limit to get to philly last time I went. So I think that no matter where the meet is, I can make it in timely fashion... I now have a par to beat in the rx7 :P

well that was only a count of 5 so far, I wanna make it so that we reserve the meet for the month of April, 2, 9, 16, 23, or the 30th. Also Hershey Park = 37.95 regular admission but if we get a group of 20 or more we can get a group discount so we will definitely get a heda count closer to the date on this one and the hours are from 10am-9pm for spring time. Dorney Park is open May 7,8,13,14,15,20,21,22,27 for the early bird season and the admission price is 22.95 a piece and the hours are 10am-10pm. Honestly on my part I dont wanna go to six flags because of the expensive prices of things. This is a meet for our members to chill and have a good time with other car enthusiasts not to spend oodles of monies on useless things even though goofball is known for buying the weirdest things. So you guys decide on where u want to go but my vote is in for Hershey park just because I have been to both parks recently and I believe hershey park is a better all around park, just my opinion but like I said earlier, the decision is up to yall.

Hey everyone I'm new to the forums but I'd love to meet up with everyone too because I live in central PA, about an hour north of Harrisburg. I don't know if you've ever driven through this area, but it sucks for people like us, who are into cars and the street racing lifestyle. You roll through this area and all you see are Cavaliers and Sunfires with huge aluminum wings and fartcans, revvin their engines at middle-aged guys in trucks. My friends and I don't drive the nicest most expensive cars either, but at least we know our shit and have road skills to win races against faster cars than we drive anyway. I drive an '89 Honda Prelude Si with only minor bolt-on mods (Intake, headers, exhaust). My cousin has a '88 Supercharged Toyota MR2 (Slightly faster than my car) and my other friend has a 2000 Mitsu Mirage which is down on power, but handles like crazy. We all go out with our three below-average cars and we rule the road, but it's honestly just getting stupid because it gets old with just the three of us. We've always been into the Teckademics videos and we've always admired everyone's street skills and driving capabilities, and everyone at teckademics has basically been my rolemodels for how driving should be done. I like the idea of meeting at the Beaver Springs Drag strip. It's only like an hour away from where I live and I never even knew it existed, and from what I saw on their website, it's very easy to find as long as you posess some directional skills. It's also very inexpensive, only $20 to race all night if I read that right. I think it would be awesome for all the Teck people in the area to meet up because we all share a common interest and hobby and it would make for a hell of a night. There's also a street about 5-10 minutes from the drag strip that I drive on all the time, route 11-15. There's a mall on it and always a bunch of posers with crappy cars with fartcans just waiting to be owned by people like us. It would make for a fun ride home.

Another idea if anyone is interested is to meet somewhere near Reading/Allentown. There's a bigass go-kart place there, called Playland or something, just outside Reading, I believe it's on Route 61, I drove by it a few times it's hard to miss. They also have a Formula 1 style track I believe and you can drive faster Formula 1 lookin' go-karts on those if you have your driver's license. I'm not sure if they still have that but they used to, so if more people are on the eastern side of PA that might be easier (Sorry don't know where everyone lives). If I'm down in the Reading area anytime soon I'll stop and that kart place and get some more details.

Ahhh but they do. It is still extremely underground because there really isn't a strong import scene around here it is still mostly rice. But if your there at the right times there will be races in between the stadiums is a popular place.

I'm not exactly sure. I live about an hour north of Harrisburg. If you get off I-81 at exit 116 (I think it's exit 116, not sure though) you'll be like 20 minutes from my house. Now, Beaver Springs Drag Strip is like an hour away from me. I actually still have to get directions to be sure but if my memory serves me correctly I believe the drag strip is actually right on Route 11, so if you were gonna go it might be easier to go by way of route 11.

I might be late cause yesterday I had some tranny problems (car wouldn't pull out of gear when I was trying to shift) so I have to work that shit out before I go, and if I have any problems I'll just be there as a spectator. If you go and you don't see my car running, chances are I didn't fix itand I'm sittin around somewhere. I am just doing that, everyone should just take the drive and do that. I am from NJ and it will be like 5 hours. The whole teck crew will be there and it will be a 3 day event.

Oh and CKY, did you go to the drag strip on Friday? I got fucking half way there and my stupid Prelude stopped shifting. Like, I would go to put it into gear and it was like I was hitting the shift gate so it wouldn't go in. It's still doing it,but I can fight it into gear if I take my time shifting, so I'm still working shit out with it, so I didn't make it that night. Sorry if you were lookin for me. Anyway, there's a drag strip closer to me and I think closer to you too, Numidia raceway. http://www.numidiaraceway.com I'm goin there this friday, whether or not my car is shifting right. If I still have problems I'll just be watching. Also,if anyone knowswhat the hell could cause this not shifting shit, any input would be appreciated. And before anyone suggests it, myshift linkage is NOT bent or messedup in any way,checked all that out already. A few weeks ago I topped off my hydraulic clutch fluid, maybe it's overful and the clutch isn't disengaging right? I have no clue.
