Ok, a good friend of mine and I were bored and my grandma was in florida, and I was hous sitting for her. Anyways, my friend has a 94 Caprice classic with the 5.7L lt-1(270hp?) no cats, flowmasters, and msd, 4l60e, 3.42 posi, and had the police package for that car. We figured the crown would lose to it, but his car has torque whereas the 4.6L has more pull top end. The crown in question was an 02 vic with the police interceptor engine(280hp I think :woo: ) Anyways, we go out to run a full mile race, and we figured he would take me off the line, but we both launched too hard and burned the tires....lol, we then both grabbed traction and accelerated wildly. the vic started pulling away from the caprice, until the caprice hit 3rd early and started evening things out. Then the crown wound 2nd out and kicked 3rd and passed him like he was standing still, he still couldn't believe the vic managed to pull on him like that or even keep close. We found the vic to be harder to hook at the track though, due to smaller tires...lol, anyways, it was a great race, and definately worthy of this site's entertainment...lol

She checkmarked practically every box when she special ordered it, as far as I know, I have never seen another PI with air ride, leather seats, console, and center shifter. I wish I would have bought it off here, the car was quick and rode really well, closest thing i have found ride-wise, is USI's SAE mini baja car...lol. Kinda fun because it was pretty much the PI motor/trans, and then a fully loaded sport crown vic..lol. I dunno what gear ratio the rear end had, but it had the "Police Interceptor" on the back and had the spotlight delete...lmao
