friend's thinking of selling his civic. no accidents!!! clean title...

heres the low down. im not in a rush because im trying not to sell it, but i dont drive it as much anymore and it only seems to get me into trouble with the cops around here. Santa Barbara CA. this is my first car, i bought it with my hard earned money, and i dont like seeing it sit. the car was built to be a road racer.

But if i get a resonable price i will sell it. =(

I know how everyone else feels about taking over someone elses project, its kind of a scary proposition. but this car was built by me, over the last 5 years, off and on when i was working as a mechanic and when i was working for pornstar clothing. The car isnt hacked, it is well maintained, well planned, and put together well.

exterior

98 coupe with 99 front end, SI lip, carbon hood.(needs a new one cause of clear)
CTR grill
99 rear bumper also
Fal lexan back 3 windows(minor cracks from age on windows, but nothing crazy)
99 tail lights
15" Spoon Sw388 wheels with falken azenis tires(yes they are real)


couple skuffs and a minor crack in the front bumper cause of careless drivers parking near my house.


Interior

Stripped, nothing, tar gone, carpet gone everything that is extra is gone
no stereo, no speakers, no extra wiring i cleaned it all.
1 sparco Evo seat, black on black, with black sparco 5 point
1 stock passenger seat(ill throught that in)
good dash, custom 99 center controls, with carbon fibre plate to house gauges(boost,oil, etc)
custom aluminum inner door skin with stock top portion of door panel to keep dash line.
floormats
SI cluster with 40k on it
CDM/JDM airbag block off tray
Stock steering wheel with no airbag in it. (sorry my ctr non SRS got stolen and i had a hard time finding another one.)

mostly stock interior as far as color and look, no paint, or pretty stuff, stock shift knob

Engine/ trans

Engine bought from HAPrecyling, was built by replika mashinen in scotts valley CA, once i received it i replaced a few parts and it went in. 25k on this engine 5k on boost. broken in with varied speed only ip to 4000rpm for 500 miles, then varied speed up to 5000rpm for another 500miles. engine is built for 300-350whp... road course reliable

ported block(oil ports and coolant ports cleaned)

blanaced rotating assembly with clutch and flywheel
Spoon cromoly ultralight flywheel
clutchmaster stage 4 clutch and pressure plate(6puk sprung)
Y8 intake manifold with custom block off for idle air control valve
custom oil pan with added capacity and baffles($500 custom part)
HKS gt2510 BB turbo, ported and thermal coated housings
4.5psi wastegate actuator
drag manifold thermal coated
HKS intercooler with custom backdoor endtank
custom piping
HKS SSQ blow off
ATP vband outlet for the GT25/28
3" vband downpipe
HKS mushroom filter(black)
Fluidyne radiator(civic size)
energy suspension motor mount bushings
ARP head bolts
ARP Main cap bolts
all brand new parts went into the engine to put it back together, not a budget build
cryogenicly treated most engine parts

(might be blanking on a few things, its late when im posting this)

exhaust - 2 1/4 piping running all the way back under "axle" to a magnaflow oval can.... looks almost stock, sounds good.

Tanabe Sustec Pro coil overs(never raced on really)
ST front sway bar
ST speed tech rear sway bar combo
GSR rear disk brak conversion

no name rear strut tower bar
power slot front rotors
manual rack conversion using CX rack. no more extra hoses, better response

Other details

car is running on Vortech FMU/ missing link setup. runs fine with the 4.5psi, up to 7psi.... car is decently strong for the low boost. surprised me and a few others..

but heres the bonus,
i have a set for RC 440's ready for you, with clips
i have an obd2-obd1 conversion harness if you wanted hondata.
I have an AEM fuel rail, AEM Cam Gear, AEM FPR and high flow fuel filter(installed)all in silver
TONS of extra parts from my years of working on hondas.

things from fuel rails for B16's, injectors from b16's/ b18's, oil pans, etc

everyting will come with this car, if i sell it i want out of all the parts i have right now.

included will be
tubing for a full 8-10pt cage hoop and pillars bent already
3" stainless piping u bends and straights for full exhaust, v-band clamps
energy suspension master bushing kit
Stock 98 tail lights
y7 manifold ported and thermal coated
distibutors and alternators for D's

its a nice car for someone to have... wish i felt as though i could keep it. but we will see.

he wants 8 for it. seriously sll you need is a shell and you can have 2 civics that how may extra parts he has. i'm sure if you sell all the parts you can make back most of what you paid for the car. he's been offered 7 and 7,5 soo far but wont let it go unless he has 8. great deal i can vouch for how clean the car is. needs to sell it since the cops pull him over for no reason whenevery he drives it. where as my friend w/ his SRT4 has a car 3x louder/ more annoying and hasnt been bothered once.

a buddy of mine is looking to get rid of his SRT4 with stage 1 mopar upgrade, would he be interested in trading his car + some $$$? it's in the for sale section for more info

he already found a new project a corolla GTS sold his old corolla for a beat up GTS to work on. selling the civic would just give him money for the corolla since he also has access to a scion xB for a DD.

because at this point it's just in his way and needs to be soldl. he's been pulled over by every cop in santa barbara and even has a warrant for not passing smog once. so pretty much he's tired of looking at it. plus he really wants to fix up his corrola and all his money is sitting in all the shit from the civic.
