The rough details are being hatched out, but here goes:

Due to recent increases in insurance premiums, this event has the following costs:
$100 Preregistration for drivers
$125 Gate registration for drivers
$5 for spectators

If we get more than 40 drivers preregistered, we WILL offer some kind of rebate -- probably $10. We are expecting people to get around 14 runs or more. You normally pay $40 for 4 runs at autocross. $90 for 14 is a good bargain.

PREREGISTRATION CLOSES OCTOBER 1st
No exceptions. If you don't make prereg by the 1st, you pay $125. No rebate. We want to make sure we can plan this event out really well, and that requires timelyness on your parts.

I was there from about 1:30-3:00


The drift event definitely had a grassroots, non-corporate backing feel to it. For the $5 admission fee, it was definitely a good time. I saw Dustin and Dado there in addition to Dan...but I didn't see the S14.5 or the M3 drifting out there.

dan broke something at one point....i got it on vid. smoke everywhere and when he popped the hood oil was EVERYWHERE i got pics of that also....they worked on it for a while and he drove it after that so im assuming it was a quick fix.....anyone know what he broke?

My oil catch can got clogged up and wasnt breathing properly making the crankase pressurize and causing the oil dipstick to pop out mid drift.....hence the oil all over the engine......car is running ok now but i think my rings are gona.....time for a rebuild

Cant wait to see how it runs once you get all the work done. Good luck this comming season. Are you going to the event this saturday in Petersburg? Even without the car.
