240sx vs. R32 VW (my old car actually)

So, I'm on my way to school for my afternoon classes and I literally see my old R32 pull onto the freeway. I was like, "holy shit!" So we get onto this nice 4 lane part of the highway and he rolls up on me and it's some teenager and his friend. He changed the wheels and added some gauges to it since I got rid of it. He revs at me and I drop it in third. He does the same and we hit it. I slowly start pulling away and by the time we hit 5th he's in my rearview. Slow down and he pulls up on me again and we just kind of follow each other. We take the same exit and I pull up next to him and tell him that's my old car and he asked why I got rid of it. :lol:

Same question, why would you get rid of an R32? Well iam sure you have your reasons, at least ur new car can beat your old one.

Nice. Sort of a good thing knowing that by getting your new car you sorta stepped it up. Still cool to see that its in decent shape since it you sold it. I think that if I sold my car and then I heard it was written off later on Id have a heart attack or something.

If I lost, I would have seriously questioned my tuning capabilities. lol

My R32 was nice, but VWs weren't really my thing after awhile. It was still one of the nicest cars I've owned from a comfort aspect. My 240 thinks it's a race and acts like a race car and almost is a race car. lol

R32 VWs are pretty good at all the things they do, but just like the saying..."Jack of All Trades, Master of None". They do alot of stuff good but they don't any one thing way better than most other cars. But, they are sweet for a daily driver or a weekend car. But, not for racing. My buddy went to look at an Evo and ended up driving one. He liked it but wanted to drive the Evo instead before he made his decision. The dealer kept stalling him and stalling him to get the R32 instead of going down to the road and getting an Evo (they are a Mitsu/VW/Buick dealer) because they knew as soon as he drove that Evo it was all over!

yeah, it was the same with me. I test drove the R32 and was like, "It's pretty good but I want to drive an EVO." and the sales person kept trying to stall me or tell me this and that about the R32. I have nothing againts them and think that they are great cars. It's just that it was about time I came back to my first love of Nissan. :D
