Lancer Chase in the ZX

So I'm driving out my favorite 5 mile section of road monday after Id just installed new brakes clear around the Z .. The road has alot of 90 degree turns and a few nice sweeps .. it's around 8:30 on the east coast and Im going along about 50mph w. some tunes playin .. I come through a turn and right up on a Silver Lancer (Not Evo VIII) but it did have the Oz Rally package .. so Im following him about 45mph and then the car infront of him pulls to go on to another road .. All of a Sudden the lancer decided it was goodbye time .. I was like "Hmm I doubt it" he took off and I took off .. I was coming after him hard and after three turns using the Z's wide & low stance was about 1 car length behind him running along at 3.5k .. we went through some S Turns and I knew there was a spot to pass him coming up .. I got 1/2 Car length behind him and as soon as we topped this rise and I seen the left lane was open I dropped the Hammer Revved to 6K grabbed 4th and went for the pass .. this fella WAS :noes: NOT slowing down I thought "Well I'm already in it, no need in stopping now" I passed him mid way through the 100yd straight and got back into *my* lane .. just in time to slow down about 15mph (from 85mph) to go through the center of an off camber left handed sweep .. into another straight .. to ensure victory I laid back into the gas and looking back the lancer had fell off about 150yds (I guess he'd lost his nerve) .. So I went on .. Stopped @ the Exxon .. put some 93oc in my baby and went about my evening .. I love Road Racing more than anything else .. its the best

still pretty good if he could keep up fairly well, my friend had an 02 lancer rally oz, not a bad car at all. Nice kill though

Yeah, OZ package lancer sucks just as bad as the regular lancer, cept they got a windshield banner and rims and stuff. I remember racing one with my CRX (intake, no cat, muffler: 100 bhp at best) and winning easily from like a 40 mph roll.
