Is that a CF hood? Nice jetta - very clean looking. Im trying to get a supra tt also but its tough finding an unmolested one is rough especially if you are only looking for a certain combination of features. 6-speed, sport top, with under 80k miles for example is proving hard to find for anything less then a small fortune.

It's a 99 Eclipse RS. I bought the car originally for transportation that looked good to a dumbass 16 year old. Now I wish I would have known something then and bought a GSX, but we all learn somehow. It's been fun making the car look good, winning trophies, etc. I've met a lot of people with this stuff. It is mostly show, but I have a few bolt-ons to help out all I can with the lack of speed. It's auto too... I bought it for a daily driver and didn't care. I'll never buy another car like this that isn't a manual.

I have another car that I picked up for $700. An 81 Datsun 280zx 5 speed. (2 seater) The clutch is dead right now. When the clutch was almost gone, I was killing kids in civics. It's a pretty fun car for such an old beater. The outside has some rust, the interior sucks. (It's missing parts, but oh well... WEIGHT REDUCTION) I am planning on driving it until the motor goes, then going flat blue with some old school deep wheels, maybe a racing seat or 2 and a motor swap of some sort.
I'd do all this now, but I am trying to make the eclipse a player in the show scene for 2005. It's going in soon to have blue ice pearl on the silver, and airbrushed shadows to flames, with pearl white accents for a 3D effect. In January-ish, I'm getting an 11" screen put in the air bag and an enclosure built. My bodyshop is trying so hard to tempt me to targa top it. I just don't know. We'll see. I wanna finish the eclipse, and I want to hang onto it. I'm just craving a daytona blue 350z roadster with some gold volks w/ the polished lips. :bigsmile:

Due to the resent storms, my computer lost most of its valuable data and I couldn’t find any images of my car. I used a photo that closely resembled my car as possible. RO_JA formula 7s. I think RJ had a contract with motegi when he 1st started out. My wheels are forged multi-piece wheels, though, so I'm happy. I also got a sweet deal on them. Apparently, Ray's will be making RO_JA's new stuff. I feel so jipped. :nonono2:

nice, my friend has a stratus we just started on, kind of a " project car ", right now he has that same front lip, custom made carbon fiber hood ( had it made before they came out ), hes got a full body kit in the mail, should be in this week, we just finished up some of the interior, and are working on a custom box/trunk, heres how it sits right now, hes got rims and lowering springs comin, and after the kit gets put on should be getting painted

i bought this fmic off ebay, it is custom made for a 1g eclipse so i went for it as a temporary IC. when my new motor is done ill be puttin a larger one on and cutting part of my bumper to expose it for max air feed.
hmm jus took notice to how yellow my headlights are. this was obviously taken before i wet sanded them.. (look in my sig how clear they are now :) )but im gettin the new ones that just came out that have clear lenses like the 2g eclipse... than i can custom make and retro fit my own projectors and HID's since they have never made aftermarket headlights for a 1g.

yea thats true.. im puttin racing seats in my car soon and i was readin up on how to mount the harness to the car . ive read bout ppl mounting it to thier floors, but thats real dangerous, not to mention illegal. so ive decided to go and get and a harness bar and sacrafice my backseats and took them out. so now my car is just a two seater..

im not sure how yours are hooked up though, just make sure there secure and not bolted down to the floor... BTW nice rims hahaha. they kinda look familiar.. :)

Color coded molding is an "option" on more cars than you might think.....I think the grey bottom (like on the old SLK) kills ANY car though!

we have a 76 c10 pick up with 430hp, we are taking the motor out of that and putting it in a ford ranger, and returning the c10 back to stock

the c-10 on off road tires suck on the track, it spun through 3rd before it even left the line, it was a spur of the moment thing to run at MIR import vs domestic

thats why we are going to jam it into the ranger, since its in peices already now, it shouldnt be too hard

its a 350, we are also tubbing the rear for drag slicks

next motor work is going to be on my car after i finish all the body work, i have an extra motor thats going to be rebuilt with stronger internals for boost from a turbo

and 2 b16a one from japan going to rebuild
