So, I finally did some runs today. :D Don't know if that's good or bad because I'm on probation...I guess just don't get caught. :lol: Unfortunately, my car is sick with the stock T25 turbo on it's way out. It's burning oil under wide open throttle, so I'm down at least 30hp. That will all change on friday when my GT28 turbo goes in.
First up is a GTI 1.8t 337. Since I just got out of VWs, this was almost like fate. :lol: 3rd gear roll on the highway and I pulled about a car and a half on him. From what I could hear, he probably had an intake, DV, and exhaust.
Next up, me and my friend's Porsche 944. Heh, we were coming back from a meet and were on this three lane highway and were wide open. 3rd gear roll once again. My rpms dropped a bit so my turbo had to spool, but once it did I pulled on him pretty good.
Finally, I ran into a V6 Camaro near the mall. Had a not so great sounding exhaust and he was driving like a hard ass. He pulled around me all fast, and the light ahead was red. We were both rolling about 20mph when it turned green and he got left behind. :D
And all this with a blown turbo? I can't wait until my my GT28 gets put in. I'm expected to be close to 300hp with it on the stock motor. I have a 1.2mm head-gasket and valve springs in my garage all ready to go as well.
