E55 AMG vs '94ish Civic Hatchback

My buddy's friend rolled up in a 94ish Civic hatch, all stock, down to the 14" steelies. But under the hood was a B16 w/ Type R parts (cams etc) some crazy custom headers etc. 190whp+ he claimed, about 2200lbs or something like that I forgot.

Anyway, we ran and holy shit it's fast!!!! He was pretty much with me, and I was only pulling a car length on him up to 80mph! Damn! We did one rolling start from about 40 and one from a dead stop. At the dead stop I had the jump on him and he never caught me but he hung! I'm sure if we were to go to triple digits, I would've widened the gap significantly more, but MAD PROPS to that civic, it's insane and all motor!!!!

But hey, in the end of the night, I went home in an AMG :P

Yeah, when i read the title, i was like "What the hell was that Civic thinking", i love sleepers for that reason tho

I knew what mods it had before I ran it and that it was fast, but I didn't think that fast. It's all power to weight ratio.

thats like my brothers old crx.. looked somehats stock other than the weight reductions like cf hood, and gutted interior, but it had about 180hp all motor and manged to run a 13.8. i have a video of him keeping up with my friends slightly modded m3 at the time. the car was set up to drop a turbo in but my brother wound up selling it, and since then the m3 was supercharged after almost losing to a car like that hahaha

My car is supposed to run low to mid 13's. Mostly mid 13's. The civic wasnt on slicks. Figure he has at least 2000 less lbs than my car, he's 1/2 my weight, no AC in his car, I got my fatty 120+lbs subs, 19's etc... Maybe is I stripped down the car I would win by a larger distance.
