well, if you are looking for a m3, you should look at a 95 e36 m3.You could prolly find one with around 80k miles around 14k. Oh, and welcome to the forum! I was up in Chesapeake earlier today, by the way.

In addition to the advice of forum members here, make sure to also check out several of the BMW related message boards. You can gain a lot of inside knowledge on those forums that the average buyer wouldn't receive.
Good luck!
14k for a 95 M3? No. Try like around 10k nowadays, mam. Lemme know if you need help finding a BMW. ;)
Edit: Gawddamn, prices has gone up a GRIP since I was last in the market for a 95 M3. Much more expensive now.

Hope they're not heading for the same price inflation as the Supra has taken over the past couple of years....

Just also remember cars like that are out of warranty and are expensive to repair. Just depends on how deep your pockets are I guess!
They're really not that expensive to maintain as long as you take care of it.
Oil changes can be done by yourself easily but even if you can't or don't want to you can take it to Jiffy Lube or whatever and just bring your own oil (presumable Mobil 1 or Castol Syntec) and filter and just pay them the $20 for the labor.
You can also check out www.dtmpower.net for more information on BMWs.

Yeah, well maintenance is do-able. But unexpected repairs can get you in the hole and fast!

i wont say anything, since i'll get masacured for saying srt4... hahaha
no, joking aside, the m3 would be sick... get a 95 if you can, if not 96 to keep the price down... the 95 i had- had hella problems though, so i sold the damn thing.. plus clutch/brakes.. all that shit was alot of money that needed to go into it, which i didnt care for either

Let's hope. The Supra has an excellent reputation to it's name before those phockers in Hollywood killed it. Now every kid my age wants one so he can put on an APC double deck spoiler and a pic of a flaming silver guy flying across the door. Give me a Supra and it'd be pushing 450 HP in no time with basic mods.
Lol, enough about that. A '95 M3 should run 14-16, depends on condition. I wouldn't worry too much about higher mileage, as the BMW 6-cyl engines are reliable as hell...as long as the last owner had regular maintenance on it.

kEEP IN mind that a 95 would be nearly 10 yrs old...and that m3's are meant to be driven hard, thus take in consideration the potential cost of replacing wear and tear items such as clutch etc...
